Anybody who is a parent, caretaker, teacher, or works with children will know how true this wonderful quote from St. Mother Theodore Guerin is... It has become one of my personal favorites. I learned about this quote and the saint behind it when our family lived in Terre Haute, Indiana, where this fascinating woman founded the Congregation of Sisters of Providence of St. Mary of the Woods. She was canonized in 2006 by Pope Benedict XVI and she is truly worth reading and learning more about!
