I have a personal devotion to the sacred heart that has been life-changing and wanted to honor His Sacred Heart with this design. 

The intent is to spread the message about this devotion, which according to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, the Lord wanted as a means

 

to revive the fire of charity which has become almost extinguished in the hearts of the majority of Christians...This devotion is a new means of loving God as He deserves to be loved."
